Jos and Tia won the bronze medal at the under 18 Junior Championship of Belgium in Brugge. Gold went to Jef Wellens with Uranus who jumped clear in all four rounds. It finshed in a jump-off for the silver and bronze medals between 4 riders who tied on a total of 4 faults. Jos and Tia were 3rd to go, they opted to jump a clear round which would guarantee them a place on the podium, Olivier Phillipaerts (Cabrio v/d Heffink) was last to go and had a clear round but in a faster time than Jos to take the silver medal.
