Harrie Smolders and Exquis Walnut De Muze won the opening 1.60m class at Calgary.
In a jump-off of 16 riders, Harrie and Walnut was second to go and set a super fast clear round in 43.40 to win the class.
Roger Yves Bost (Ideal De La Loge) were 2nd in 43.88, Olympic champion Eric Lamaze (Hicksted) was 3rd in a time of 44.24. 4th went to Cian O'Conner (Rancorrado) and 5 Geoff Billington (Rosinus).
