The first Junior Nations Cup for Jos and Tia Maria at Manerbio in Italy was a great experience. With 2 fences down in the first round, one fence down and a foot in the water in the second round, ending on 9 faults in each round. It was a tough course, only one combination managed to jump a double clear. The Spainish team won and 2nd went to the French.
In the Belgian team were four young talented boys, Loic Massart 16yr, Jonas Vevoort and Cyril Cools 15yr and Jos 14yrs, for all of them it was there first time in a nations cup team in the junior division. They ended on a high score at the bottom of the line, but they certailny did not disgrace themselves and more importantly gained a wealth of experience.
20 year old Flashbounce won the 130cm speed class on friday. On saturday he had the fastest time but had one fence down to finish in 7th place. 7 year old Kathy K Z jumped a nice double clear on friday in the 130cm and finished in 8th place.
Jos will compete at CSI J Moorsele this weekend with: Tia Maria, Flash Bounce and Rino Biene.

Regina Z was 6th in the 1m50 jump off class at the Grand Paleis Show in Paris.
Regina and Exquis Powerfee will now have a well deserved rest.
The following two weekends at the International Spring Tour in Lummen Harrie will ride Exquis Walnut De Muse, Emerald and Queros De Bioagrico. This is Walnuts first show since being rested from Jumping Mechelen in December, Emerald is a 6 year old approved stallion by Diamant De Semilly out of a Carthago mother, he shows top quality and will compete in the 6 year old classes. Queros De Bioagrico will jump his second outdoor show this year, In Villeneuve Loubet he was clear in the Grand Prix to end in 5th place.
Annelies will ride: Cayak, Chico Z, Warlod, Tiamo and BV Projects Elise. Cayak was formely ridden by Eiken, he rode him in the Japanese team at the World Equestrian Games in Aachen as well as at the Olympic Games in Beijing.
Chico Z was 3rd place in the CSI 1* GP in Villeneuve Loubet and Warlod won the 7 year class at the same venue.BV Projects Elise will compete in the 6 year classes. It is the first show for Annelies with Tiamo, she is a 10 year old bay mare by Lux Z out of a Jasper mother.
Eiken will ride BV Projects Cartoon Z and his new ride BV Projects Edinburgh.
