CSI3* HARDELOT - Harrie Smolders

There were 106 starters in the 1m50 Grand Prix Qualifier on friday in Hardelot. Regina Z (f. Rex Z) was one of only 8 horses to go through to the jump-off. She finished in second place with a time of 68.45, Gregory Wathelet with Olympie Des Villas won the class with a slightly faster time of 67.89. In the Grand Prix of Hardelot on sunday afternoon, Regina was one of 13 horses to go through to the jump-off. She had a super fast time but just tipped the last jump out of the cup to give her 4 faults which put her down into 8th place.

Emerald (Diamant de Semilly x Carthago) was 4th in the final of the 7 year old horses. He jumped so impressive that the stewards insisted that Harrie changed his boots for the jump-off ! After jumping exactly the same in the jump-off they understood it had nothing to do with the boots, it was just his natural way of jumping.

CSIJ MOORSELE - Jos Verlooy

Jos competed at the international junior show in Moorsele. Cayak (f. Calido)  jumped clear every day in the 1m40 class, saturday he finished in 8th place and in the Grand Prix he picked up a time fault to finish in 10th place. A new ride for Jos was the 12 year old irish bred Vivs Diamond, he finished both friday and saturday in 5th place in the 1m30.
