Harrie Smolders had a successful weekend at the Global Champions Tour Final at the International Al Forsan sports resort in Abu Dhabi.
In the final of the Global, Harrie and Walnut picked up one time fault in the first round , the were just 6/100th of a second over the time allowed. Going into the second round they were in 15th place. Walnut again jumped a spotless clear round over a huge course. Finally they finished in 3rd place and a thoroughly deserved place on the podium, only two other horses managed to jump clear.
Exquis Powerfee also did his best in Abu Dhabi, in the opening jump-off in the 1m45 class he finished in 4th place and in a very fast speed class on Saturday afternoon he was 6th.
