Jos and Harrie went to the beautifully renewed venue of Jan Tops in Valkenswaard this weekend and they were both in a winning mood!
Jos started with a 2nd place on Thursday in the 1.35 class with Clearwater (s. Clearway).
Harrie jumped the 8yo EH Quick Nina (s. Quidam’s Rubin) in the Medium Tour 1.40 ending 2nd. This beautiful little mare really showed her superstar qualities this weekend, ending 2nd again on Friday and winning the Medium Tour Final on Sunday!!
On Friday evening the first ever LGCT Team Competition took place: Harrie and Aiyetoro formed a team with Rolf-Göran Bengtsson and his Unita Ask. They were the only ones to stay clear after 2 spectacular rounds (only 1 time fault in the 2nd round for Harrie) and won the class! 2nd Place was for Edwina Tops-Alexander and Henk Van De Pol, Daniel Deusser and Christina Liebherr ended 3th.
Sunday was another victorious day: where Harrie and Quick Nina won the Medium Tour Final, Jos and Farfelu De La Pomme won the Big Tour Final… The Vigo d’Arsouilles mare was in great form and after a great 1st round they rode a fast jump off, finishing almost 2 seconds faster then 2nd place Victoria Gulliksen!
Harrie and Copernicus Stable’s Don VHP Z ended 3th in the CSI5* Longines Ranking 1.55, after Edwina Tops-Alexander and Lintea Tequila (1st) and Tiffany Foster with Viktor (2nd).
