Harrie and Copernicus’ Don VHP Z have been a very strong combination since day 1, and together they took some 2nd, 3rd and 4th places in the 5* GP’s already, but there was one thing missing, that 1st place…until now!
In Rome they were unbeatable, after 2 stunning clear rounds they were incredibly fast in the jump off and took the 1st place in 33.11 seconds, before Simon Delestre and Chesall Zimequest (34.00 sec), and Maikel Van Der Vleuten with VDL Groep Arera C (34.07 sec).
Jos and Caracas also did a great job and stayed clear all the way, they ended in 6th place in 35.46 seconds.
Next stop for Harrie and Don is the LGCT in Vienna this weekend, while Jos is preparing to leave to the Rolex Central Park Horse Show in New York next week with Sunshine.
Thanks to Stefano Grasso for the beautiful pictures!
